Bowling Indoors

The indoor season runs from mid September to mid April, there is something for everyone regardless of ability: members can play in internal league matches, take part in our Social Bowling sessions or play in friendly fixtures against other clubs.  We also participate in various competitive knockout competitions as a club. Our members can also enter national competitions which start locally before moving to a national level in later rounds.

The day to day format of the club is split into two hour bowling sessions which run from 10am with the final session ending at 10.30pm. There are various formats from Pairs to Rink game, we also offer these in the selection of Men's, Ladies and Open sessions to facilitate everyone. Leagues run at varying times and days to try and cater for both working and retired members.

There are also regular ‘Social Sessions’ where any members may turn up and play – these sessions are on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

Social Bowls

There are social bowls sessions every Monday, Wednesday and Friday 12pm - 2pm. You do not need to book, just arrive at the club by 11.40am. These sessions are organised by John Brown, Clive Vaughan and Sue Bede.

There is also a Friday Night Social League that runs from 6.15pm - 8.15pm. As with other social sessions you do not need to book, just turn up by 6.00pm and register your interest with Peter Stewart. There is a League table produced for this event that is published weekly on the club website.
