As we reach the end of the 2025 outdoor season, the Monday Night Social League has finished leaving us with the Men and Ladies trophy winners.

​

Congratulations go to Christine Doe and Paul Wells who are this years winners.

I would just like to thank all those members who took part in this years social, I hope you all had fun and made new friends.

​

For the record we had 69 members who took part in the social this year, 23 more than last year, which is a tremendous turnout and we hope to see you all again next season and indeed we hope you will join us on the Indoor Friday Night Social which will be starting on the Friday 3rd October (for details please go to the Indoor Section of the website or click here).

Our popular Monday Evening Social is open to all members and gives an ideal opportunity for new bowlers to play a game in a relaxed social environment.  It also allows the opportunity for members to play in a variety of positions.

​

Rinks and teams are drawn by token on the night and this takes place at 5.45pm, please ensure you have booked in with the Organiser by this time.

​

Games are played over 16 ends (dependent on weather and light conditions) with one shot being scored on the first two ends.

​

Over the course of the season members accumulate points with the leading lady being awarded the Rene Cook Trophy and the leading man the Ray Jackson Cup.

Points are awarded as follows:

​

Attending - 1 point

Win - 4 points

Draw - 2 points

Loss  - 1 point

​

Shot difference is used to split ties

​
